DECEMBER 1ST: The Immune System - WATCH THE RECORDING HERE
Presentation: The Immune System
The human immune system is by far THE most complex system in the body, and no one completely understands it, and no one can predict how you as an individual will respond to a virus or bacteria or fungus. However, there are a number of simple and very effective things you can do to strengthen your immune system, and this is especially important as we get further into the annual flu season (not to mention that little thing called covid). A strong immune system also helps lower your risk of developing a detectable cancer. This presentation focuses on wellness and not disease.
Speaker: Dr. Michael Barrows
Bio: Dr. Barrows is a board certified physician trained in Radiology, working in the field since 1984. In 2005, he learned he was on the road to osteoporosis. After a long period of studying outside what is taught in medical school, he learned this was due to years’ of using medications for reflux. He has since gotten off those medications, rarely has reflux, and has corrected his bone density. He was also able to cure his own type 2 diabetes through additional study, and has been learning about wellness for the last 16 years. The original meaning of the word “doctor” was teacher, not healer. No physician in history has ever healed a patient. His goal is to help people reach and maintain their best health.
